Digital Media Manager

The successful applicant must have a deep understanding of digital marketing, excellent communication skills, and proven project management experience. This person will utilize those skills to play a critical role as the primary client contact on all project activities where applicable.

➢ Develop and maintain a strong knowledge of clients’ business and ensure that all client project requirements are executed in a timely and accurate manner.
➢ Ensure all client materials meet expectations, are on strategy and are delivered on time.
➢ Gather and analyze marketing data to determine the client’s advertising and media needs, and analyze media alternatives and make recommendations as to how to best allocate the advertising budget. 
➢ Create digital media plan recommendations.
➢ Provide point-of-views on various media tools in the marketplace.
➢ Use applicable media research tools to draw implications for planning (e.g., MRI, @plan, AdRelevance). 
➢ Investigate creative and innovative approaches to strategically reach the target audience.
➢ Negotiate for the best value (both pricing and impact).
➢ Establish key performance indicators (KPIs) and ensure research plans/techniques capture key performance indicators (KPIs).
➢ Help organize all necessary creative spec data for creative, delivery management and/or production teams.
➢ When applicable, manage tagging of websites and external traffic driving activities working with systems engineers, developers and digital strategy teams to facilitate proper tag implementation, measurement and reporting.
➢ Assist in the trafficking and implementation process of creative QA all creative/ad placements in market and resolve problems with external and internal resources.
➢ Help monitor campaign delivery and compile delivery reports.
➢ Manage the campaign’s bill & pay process by opening purchase orders, approving invoices, reconciling payment and resolving all bill & pay problems.
➢ Maintain documentation of all media team’s campaign information (e.g., vendor contacts, media kits, presentations, etc.).
➢ Update campaign documents when appropriate (e.g., buy summary, insertion orders, etc.).
➢ Respond to the flow of client media-related issues. Be aware of the need to create solutions and resolve problems.
➢ Proactively identify and resolve program issues.
➢ Work with Third Party Technology vendors (DoubleClick, Comscore, Nielsen-Netratings, and others) to provide feedback to further improve the quality of the Planning, Buying, Competitive Tracking, Ad Serving, and Post Analysis tools. 
➢ Recommend optimizations for both a site/placement and creative rotation perspective after reviewing campaign results.
➢ Measure media performance to determine the extent to which the original objectives and strategies were met.
➢ Ensure a good working relationships with account and client teams to facilitate flawless execution of plans.
➢ Handle any campaign requests – i.e. plan changes, budget changes, provide marketplace information.
➢ Issue Investment report detailing aggregate spending per vendor per placement, per ad unit size, per rich media type. 
➢ Review contracts and media authorizations, negotiate pricing and compare delivery to orders.



General Responsibilities
➢ Provide point-of-view on various new media and technologies in the marketplace.
➢ Maintain a status on all projects and share with Manager project progress, concerns about meeting deliverables, client issues, etc. 
➢ Maintain overall control of workflow and assigned responsibilities.
➢ Provide assistance, where necessary, to assure timely completion of projects.
➢ Maintain quality control of all group projects.
➢ Ensure that projects are produced completely, correctly and with a maximum of peoplepower efficiency.

Required Skills, Experience and Education
➢ Bachelor's degree; degree or concentration in advertising, marketing, business administration, and communications preferred.
➢ Track record of success throughout college career and previous employment.
➢ Experience in marketing, advertising, or consulting industries.
➢ Strong quantitative skills, including analytical abilities and math proficiency.
➢ Solid verbal and written communication skills.
➢ Technical proficiency, particularly with Excel, Word and PowerPoint.
➢ Influential leadership skills.
➢ Confident presentation skills.
➢ Demonstrated critical thinking and problem solving abilities.
➢ Able to work successfully with teams, handling multiple projects and meeting tight deadlines under pressure.
➢ Detail-oriented and able to produce accurate work product.
